1. Pen & Drawing Experience

13″

16″

They utilize the same drawing stylus (pen), so the drawing experience is practically identical.

I’d still give the 16 the edge because the larger screen makes drawing allows me to use a lot more of my shoulder like I would when painting.  The bigger screen also means I don’t have to zoom in so much when working on larger artwork.

But for the most part, they’re pretty even.

2. Color

13″

16″

The 13 has a color gamut of 87% Adobe RGB making it slightly duller than the 16’s 94% Adobe RGB

3. Screen Size

13″

16″

This topic is debatable because some people are going to prefer the smaller screen size, especially if they live in a small space. But I personally prefer the larger screen, especially if your work is more detail oriented.

4. Weight

13″

 2.43 lbs (1.1 kg)

16″

3.3 lbs (1.5kg)

5. Resolution

13″

Full HD 1920 x 1080

2,073,600 pixels

16″

Up to Ultra HD (3840 x 2160)

8,294,400

The 13 has an excellent resolution, but Full HD doesn’t allow you the same quality when zooming in that Ultra HD does. This is because pixels get larger as you zoom blurring the image.

So the more pixels a tablet has, the more you can zoom in & maintain image quality. The 16 has 4 times the pixel density.

6. Connectivity

13″

16″

Same cable system

7. Aesthetic & design

13″

16″

They look exactly the same one is just smaller.

8. Price

13″

$650-800

16″

$999-1499

The Winner + Final Thoughts

We have a tie, these products are very similar considering there suppose to be the same model. That said I still prefer the 16 personally. It has better resolution, color, & screen size.

But if you’re someone who prefers a smaller pen display tablet for a lower price the 13 might be what you’re looking for.
